In an extraordinary stroke of luck, I came across a short 1940s film sequence (maybe ten seconds or so) on the internet, showing the small old houses in the area Saltängen in Norrköping where they lived the year Laura was born. The photo above is a screen shot from that film.
When I was moving this website to its new address in 2021, I found that the film is currently unavailable as the website is being re-organized, but I will add a link to it if it turns up again.
